Woodley Hall is a 21 bed care home situated in the quiet, quaint residential area of Brunswick Village, a couple of miles south-west from Cramlington. Woodley Hall is rated good by the care quality commission and rated grade 1 the highest grade with Newcastle City Council.

 

The Home provides care for permanent residents and those requiring shorter, respite stays, and accepts residents funded both privately and by the local authority.

 

Woodley Hall has a wonderful family feel, and is a real home from home small community. 

About the Home

Woodley Hall has communal lounges where our residents like to meet and socialise together. The home has dining areas for communal dining for those residents who choose that option. The home has a large secure garden at the rear of the home, which is used by residents to relax and get fresh air.

 

All rooms can be personalised to any prospective residents taste and choices in colour schemes and have private en-suite facilities. We encourage residents to bring personal possessions, to dress their room as they prefer.

 

Each resident has their own specific support plan devised with them and or their loved ones or advocates, to ensure our long standing care team can provide personalised support each and every day. Our team is well supported and training consistently throughout the year to ensure they remain updated with the latest standards. We are committed and provide consistent staffing each and every day, so that our residents get to know the staff who are supporting them.

Other Services:

  • Wheelchair Access: The home has wheelchair access, lift access to both floors, and all the necessary support equipment such as; mobile hoists, bath hoists, stand-aids.

  • Food: At Woodley Hall our meals are prepared by our qualified chef which are home cooked from scratch, nutritionally balanced, and aligned with our residents preferences and specific dietary needs. Tea, coffee, juices, water and tasty snacks are also available throughout the day and throughout the night as per residents choice.

  • Our commitment to everyday life and meaningful activity means we support residents to be involved in the daily life of the home and provide support to continue with their own interests where possible. This involves residents continuing to be involved in the local community.

  • Religious: We are committed to supporting our residents in continuing with their engagement with Religious and spiritual affiliations and denominations, in some cases visits to the home are arranged.

  • External Healthcare: Woodley Hall supports our residents in arranging appointments with Optician, Dentist, Chiropodist, Hairdresser.

  • Laundry: Woodley Hall offer a personalised laundry service at no extra charge

Woodley Hall have recently been rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as 'Good'
