The White House Residential & Dementia Care Home
The White House is a 32 bed residential care home providing personal care for older people, as well as specialised bespoke care for older people with dementia.
The White House is nestled within the Monkton Conservation Area of Monkton Village, along Monkton Lane.
The Home provides care for permanent residents and those requiring shorter, respite stays, and accepts residents funded both privately and by the local authority.
About the Home
The home has a large dining room, as well as other more intimate dining areas, serviced by a fully equipped kitchen. There are large TV lounges, quiet lounges and even a retro-inspired music lounge.
All bedrooms at The White House are spacious, tastefully decorated with private ensuite facilities. Residents are welcome to bring personal possessions to dress their room as they prefer.
There is a large secure garden at the rear of the home, but for those residents not able to sit outside, we have decorated some of the internal aspects as gardens or woodland scenes to get the feeling of an outdoor space.

Food: Nutritionally balanced meals are provided, in our professionally equipped kitchen, to meet all preferences and special dietary requirements. Tea, coffee, juices, water and tasty snacks are also available throughout the day and throughout the night if required.

Activities: A full activities programme is available with group sessions and more bespoke one-to-one sessions available.

Religious & Spiritual needs: All needs will be met, so far as is possible, with local religious leaders welcome to the home to conduct services.

External Healthcare: Appointments can be arranged for: Optician, Dentist, Chiropodist, Hairdresser.

Laundry: These services are provided in full on site.
The White House have recently been rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as 'Good'
